2022 MAMA AWARDS WINNERS – DAY TWO

The second and final day of the 2022 MAMA Awards has wrapped up in Osaka, Japan!

On November 30, the second day of the 2022 MAMA Awards Ceremony was held at Kyocera Dome, Osaka, where Park Bo Gum served as MC. Check out some of the red carpet looks from Day Two over here!

During the event of the first day of the exhibition on November 29, awards were given out for Yogibo Worldwide Icon of the Year, Favorite New Artist, Worldwide Fans Choice (Bonsang), Yogibo Chill Artist, and Favorite Asian Artist.

In addition to winning the Yogibo Worldwide Icon of the Year award on day one, BTS Received a special MAMA Platinum Award for creating a “global cultural phenomenon that transcends K-pop”. This platinum award also recognizes BTS MAMA’s achievements over the years in all four Daesang (grand prize) categories, including World Icon of the Year, Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year.

While BTS got three out of four Daesangs this year, Song of the Year was awarded to IVE. This makes the young girl group, who won Favorite New Artist on Day 1, only the third group to win Daesang and Rookie at the MAMA Awards in the same year.
