As Finland becomes NATO’s 31st member, images of Russian ballistic missiles falsely raise doubts about an imminent Russian deployment.
A video circulating on social media shows a military vehicle carrying 3 nuclear missiles. Many internet users pretended to be Russians and claimed that the scene took place on the Finnish border after Finland joined NATO. However, several elements demonstrate that these images were taken 800 kilometers away and are consistent with recent military exercises, but not related to Finnish membership in the Atlantic Alliance.
