Sony isn’t sticking to its usual schedule with these PS Plus ads, but don’t bother. The platform owner has just revealed one of its monthly PS Plus Essential games for April 2023, an intriguing indie game that makes its debut on the subscription service.
Meet Your Maker was announced a little while ago – it’s a first-person shooter of two halves. First, you can build vile death traps to try and snag invading players looking to steal your treasure. Secondly, you can try to improve other players’ creations, challenge any obstacles in your way and escape with your reward.
You’ll get the gist of the trailer above, but there’s also more info on PS blog. It sure feels like a novel idea, giving users tools to craft unique levels and then challenging them to beat other people’s creations.
If you’re a PS Plus Essential or higher subscriber, you’ll be able to try this game out as part of the April Monthly Game Pack, available April 4th. Sony will announce the rest of the monthly games in two weeks.
