Here’s the deal… Right Said criticized Fred Beyoncé as “arrogant” for claiming that she chose “I’m Too Sexy” for her new song “Alien Superstar” without asking or paying her in an interview with the sun.
Now Beyoncé’s camp is hitting back, telling TMZ that the accusations from Right Said Fred are completely false and false.
Beyoncé’s team says not only did she get permission to use the song, but Right Said Fred has publicly spoken out about her gratitude for being on the Renaissance album and they got a “big part”.
Queen B says she has the receipts… Beyoncé says she asked publisher Right Said Fred for permission to try out the song’s combination on May 11, with the publisher agreeing to use on June 15, leading to an August payment to RSF.

Right Said Fred also claimed that they don’t have a co-writer credit for Beyoncé’s track… but her team says that’s not true either. Instead, Beyoncé says Reporters Without Borders writers own more and are credited with authoring it than any other “Alien Superstar” writer.
