Charlotte, NC – Carolina Panthers back down Christian McCaffrey Thursday did not train after a day of missing Wednesday’s training due to a quadruple injury, leaving his position in Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
A league source told ESPN that it was too early to determine McCaffrey’s status on Sunday.
McCaffrey has missed 23 of his 33 games in the past two seasons, including the 2020 quarter-finals, due to a quadruple injury he sustained while recovering from a shoulder injury.

McAdoo said: “Christian is clearly a special player, right? He is one of the best players in the league. We will take into account whether we have it or not.
