Cirkus Opening Day Box Office: Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty’s movie sells 3 lakh tickets; It collects 6.25 crores

the Rohit Shetty The comedy, Circus, is on top Ranveer Singh It took a slow start at the box office in India. The comedy of errors recorded low occupancy in all-day cinema halls with estimated first day collection in the range of ₹6.25 crore to ₹6.50 crore. Cirkus released more than 10,000 shows on its opening day and posted occupancy down 12 percent for the day, well below Conversational expectations as well. A movie of this magnitude was expected to score a debut of ₹15 crore, but there are times when big blockbusters don’t match expectations. This is one of those.

Cirkus is off to a low start

The three national chains — PVR, Inox and Cinepolis — have collected around Rs. 3.20 crore, contributing approx. 50 percent of the total business. While PVR recorded a total net worth of Rs. 1.50 crore, the other two chains, Inox & Cinepolis, collected approx. 1.70 crore. The biggest surprise came from the Gujarat belt, as the numbers from this belt were shocking as Rohit Shetty’s films have traditionally done very well in Gujarat, the market is also known to be a huge hit in comedy films. The Mumbai circuit was also a huge letdown for this Rohit Shetty film, as the bulk of the audience in this belt ventures out for Avatar: The Way of Water on the big screen.

The film needs to see huge leaps and bounds on Saturday and Sunday to somehow salvage the script after such a low start, and the road ahead looks a bit difficult given the opening and word of mouth.

The price was at a trending level, and thus, the bids were lower than the numbers would indicate. The movie was released the week of the holidays, and it remains to be seen whether or not it can get some holiday benefits with its run. Throughout the year, the lucrative window of Eid, Independence Day and Diwali has been disastrous for Hindi films, and Circus’ start points to a dull Christmas as well. The lackluster start also indicates that the Cirkus trailer didn’t create any kind of buzz among the audience, as Rohit Shetty’s comedy with Ranveer Singh and the whole ensemble certainly warrants a much bigger debut on face value only.

Will Cirkus show bullishness on Saturday and Sunday?

While fate won’t change from here, the jump in numbers on Saturday and Sunday, followed by Monday equals Friday could give Cirkus an opportunity to post some savings numbers facing, although this seems unlikely as the report on the ground about the content is not up to par. Mark. The film sold around 3 lakh tickets on its opening day across the country. Cirkus proves to be one of those rare failures of Rohit Shetty, and this also gave a chance to all those who have been hiding in the vaults for 15 years waiting for the man to fail to come out and vent their thoughts. But he is sure to come back stronger with Singham again. The biggest directors have had failures in their careers, and they are always an integral part of every director’s journey.
