Jets owner does whatever it takes to get Aaron Rodgers

Report: Jets owner is doing whatever it takes to get Aaron Rodgers

ESPN’s Mike Greenberg went on “The Pat McAfee Show” and said the Jets are “all in” and it’s all up to Rodgers

ESPN’s Mike Greenberg went on “The Pat McAfee Show” Wednesday and said Jets owner Woody Johnson would do “whatever it takes” to trade for Aaron Rodgers. Greenberg added that having the owner, head coach, general manager, and offensive coordinator travel to California to meet with Rodgers means that the Jets are “all in” and that the decision now rests solely with the Packers’ quarterback. NFL Network says don’t expect a decision from Rodgers anytime soon about playing the Jets. “Aaron Rodgers is very reflective and likes to take his time to think and then discuss it publicly,” said Rapoport. Rapoport added that the Jets are Rodgers’ only outside suitor and retirement is still on the table, with Rodgers due $60 million on his contract next season. The Packers must be in compliance with the salary cap with free agency starting next Wednesday, March 15th.
