Megan Thee Stallion is here to save “Hot Girl Summer” with her new self-titled album Megan. But on top of giving all the hotties a new reason to celebrate, the Grammy Award-winning rapper is also throwing some love into one of her favorite forms of media: anime.
In her new song “Otaku Hot Girl,” the popular anime fan uses a clip from Jujutsu Kaisen to start the song. She then follows up with Yuuji Itadori’s English voice actor, Adam MacArthur, who offers a new perspective on his famous “I like girls like Jennifer Lawrence” line:
“I like tall women with big, beautiful hair,” MacArthur begins. “Just saying.” Like Grammy Award-winning Megan Thee Stallion.
Megan Thee Stallion continues to drop numerous anime references throughout “Otaku Hot Girl,” such as “Can’t Touch me like Gojo” and “Fightin’ Demons in my head like I’m Itadori” from Jujutsu Kaisen, and “Sexy jutsu, I feel like Naruto” and “I wouldn’t be able to argue with Sasuke Avi” from Naruto.
Megan Thee Stallion has never been shy about her love of anime and shounen in particular. The award-winning rapper channeled Bruno Bucciarati from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure While presenting an award at Crunchyroll’s 2024 Anime Awards, he has voiced several other anime characters, such as Todoroki and Mirko from My Hero Academia, Jolyene Cujoh from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Death the Kid from Soul Eater, and Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen – all of which can be seen on Her Instagram. In 2022, it was It was performed in Tokyo dressed as Sailor Moon.
