Gentle Barn went on to describe Pearl’s fate as part of a pattern of chasing internet celebrities who buy “little pigs” or “tea pigs” because they think they’ll stay young and make good content. “When they inevitably grow too large and have many unexpected needs, they are sadly ignored,” Gentle Barn wrote. “While we don’t know everything she went through in her past, we do know that her life is now filled with friends, nutritious food, quality care, and lots of love.”
