The 100-page report comes as states parties to the conference prepare for their annual meeting at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva from August 30 to September 2. Russia is also stressed “Put an immediate end to these indiscriminate attacks and call on all signatories to renounce these weapons and join the Convention without delay”.

Neither Russia nor Ukraine has joined the arms embargo convention, which has 110 state parties and 13 signatories.
