PGA Championship 2023 from Oak Hill: Frost delay begins

The only thing the PGA of America hosts were worried about heading into the PGA Championship this week was the early morning Rochester weather.

Undoubtedly, the tournament’s 105th course – which was traditionally held in August until its move to May in 2019 – will start on Thursday amid frigid temperatures, at least for golf.

This was on the heels of a somewhat frigid Wednesday when the players went through their final preparations for the second Grand Slam of the season.

Update 7:45am: Tee times have been adjusted following a frost delay at the start of the PGA Championship

The training facilities and golf course are now open. The first golfers will start at 8:50 am on the first tee and at 8:55 am on the tenth. Start times are pushed back 1 hour and 50 minutes from originally published times.
