Earlier today on July 15, God of War Ragnarok finally went up for worldwide pre-order, starting with the UK and Europe. While the Jotnar Edition originally sold for £229.99 in UK storefronts, it’s already reselling for at least twice that price online.
For example, if you head to ebay uk (Opens in a new tab) Right now, you’ll see that there are many Ragnarok’s Jotnar Edition listings selling for over £500. However, the menus really do drop in price from there, generally dropping to just over £200 in total.
Still, deplorable condition for customers. with retailer Game (Opens in a new tab) The Jotnar edition is already listed as sold out, and there is currently no other way for UK customers to get the special edition other than by going through distributors, and even then, it doesn’t look like consumers are guaranteeing a copy.
We’ll likely see this happen again later today when US pre-orders for Ragnarok and its various versions open. US pre-orders should go live at 7AM PT/10AM ET, so we’ll have to wait and see if exploits are quick to get releases like Jotnar Edition and re-list it online.
