Mario & Luigi: Brothership has started its latest livestream and while we’ve already seen a fair amount of gameplay footage, one thing Nintendo hasn’t properly showcased yet is the game’s box art. Yes, it’s been shown off in listings here and there, but now in the latest update it’s been officially revealed via social media.
As you can see, the famous duo appear, a new character called Snoutlet, and a small part of the world that Mario and Luigi are preparing to explore, known as Concordia. A blank background similar to Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey also returns. As Nintendo mentioned, pre-orders for this game have also been launched.
An official image of Mario has also been shown in this new adventure:
In case you missed our initial coverage, in this new adventure, it looks like Mario and Luigi will be “on standby” as they embark on an island-hopping adventure in the world of Concordia with the help of Shipship Island (“part ship, part island”).
While Nintendo has not revealed the developer behind the latest installment in the Mario & Luigi series, a company representative recently confirmed that some members of the original team are involved in this new project. Mario & Luigi: Brothership will be released on Switch this November.
