Earlier this week, two Reddit users reported that the power connectors for the new, expensive Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPUs has partially melted And that Nvidia was looking into the problem. Since then, at least nine additional Reddit users have posted the same issue with the 16-pin power connector (a thread that gathers all information about the issue is over here).
