It’s only a minute long, but it gives us a proper first look at the new series. Check it out below.

“There are wonders in this world beyond our wanderings,” says a young voice at the beginning of the trailer. We see plenty of rolling hills, a detailed city, vast icebergs, arrow catching, horseback riding and, perhaps not quite as impressively as intended, tons of CGI.

We also see glimpses of the main characters, including inquisitive Harfoot (Markella Kavenagh), Arondir (Ismael Cruz Cordova), Galadriel (Morfydd Clark), and Elrond (Robert Aramayo), alongside Benjamin Walker and Simon Merrells in unreleased roles.

Episodes of Power take place during the Second Age of Middle-earth, which occurs thousands of years before the events of the hobbit And the Lord of the Rings. The teaser follows the release of a series of images from the show, and close-up shots of hands holding a variety of objects such as swords, leaving fans speculating on social media about who the characters might be based on the visual items and costumes.

The total production cost for the exhibition itself is more than $1 billion, according to The Hollywood ReporterAmazon reportedly had to stick to at Leave five seasons.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power hits Prime Video on September 2.
