Apple ID accounts log users out and require password resets

There are widespread reports of Apple users being locked out of their Apple ID overnight for no apparent reason, requiring a password reset before they can log in again.


Users say sudden and unexplained Apple ID logout is happening across multiple devices. When they try to log in again, they are locked out of their accounts and asked to reset their password to regain access.

This has created additional Apple ID issues for users who have Stolen Device Protection enabled and are far from a trusted location, as well as resetting any app-specific passwords previously set up in iCloud.
