Charlie Sheen begs Elon Musk to return his blue checkmark

Actor Charlie Sheen publicly begged Elon Musk to bring back his blue tick on Twitter on Friday.

Sheen, like thousands of others, lost his official verification badge after a site-wide purge of verified accounts that refused to subscribe to Twitter Blue — Musk’s $8-a-month subscription service.

@elonmusk dear. I’m sorry your imaginary rocket exploded in such a spectacular way. I’m sure you’ll build a bigger and more explored one.” Shane wrote. “Now, may I please take back my blue cheque? It would mean a lot to me. Thank you in advance, sincerely—c sheen.”

The “fancy rocket” the “Two and a Half Men” and “Platoon” star referred to was Musk’s 400-foot SpaceX Starship, which exploded moments after liftoff in Boca Chica, Texas, Thursday.

Officials say the spacecraft, the world’s most powerful rocket, will one day be able to take people to the Moon and Mars.

Although Musk has agreed to cover the costs of A Few MW accounts Like Stephen King, LeBron James, and William Shatner, he gave no indication that Shane would be among that select group.
