Expert reveals what really happened with Taylor Swift’s ‘possessed’ piano

The piano expert examined what might have happened with Taylor Swift’s keyboard when she became “possessed” during a recent concert on her Eras tour.

The 33-year-old pop star looked visibly shocked when she started playing the piano on her own while about to start Red (Taylor’s version) on Sunday, shouting to the crowd, “I didn’t play that!”

As the piano continued to make sounds, Taylor covered her face in terror and wondered if only she could hear it, asking the fan, “Oh my God, can you hear that?” Does this happen to you guys too?

Now, piano technician Joe Winick, who works with the New York Piano Academy, has shared some theories about what went wrong with Taylor’s piano at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

A piano technician has thrown her weight on after the final gig on Taylor Swift’s Iras tour took a spooky turn this week when she began playing the ‘possessed’ piano of her own accord.

He said that while it was hard to say exactly what kind of instrument it was, it appeared to be a piano or keyboard hybrid with playback functions.

“It could have like a case that makes it look like a piano,” Joe told DailyMail.com, “but it’s a hybrid piano or keyboard with some sort of playback unit.”

“My best guess is that there was some glitch or glitch in that playback on this keyboard.”

Regarding how this playback system works, the expert said: ‘Like those old pianists from the early 1900s, it could play a record or like a lap.

“But it’s clear that modern pianos have electronics and computerized ways to control the piano or keyboard to play by itself without anyone pressing the keys.”

“Inside…there is another way of activating…the whole mechanism that creates a chord of sound, it vibrates.”

During this scary moment, Taylor explained that her piano was going to fail due to water damage from rain when she played a full three-and-a-half hour show at Gillette Stadium earlier this week.

“[The water] Obviously it broke my keyboard because [the keyboard] It was literally under water, so that’s broken. she told the fans.

I didn’t know how any of the machines were working last night. So this is broken, I’m going to get the guitar. everything will be alright.

Joe said water damage was definitely a possibility if it was some kind of hybrid piano and immersion would have interfered with his electronics.

However, a source close to Taylor’s tour insisted to DailyMail.com that the keyboard is not equipped with a playback feature, saying that the piano broke down as a result of the rain — and nothing more.

“There was water that had accumulated under the switch(s), due to rain the night before, which caused the contact sensor to fail,” said the insider. The keyboard used is not programmable for operation.

However, the malfunction caused fans to go into a frenzy, as trolls accused her piano playing of “faking”, prompting fans to strike back.
