Former Kansas City Chief Terek Hill plans to retire shockingly soon

Looks like the Cheetahs will be ready to drop a peace sign on their NFL career sooner rather than later. Former Kansas City Chiefs receiver Tyrek Hill just dropped the news that he plans to retire at the end of his current contract with the Miami Dolphins. During an appearance on 810 Sports Radio’s Totally Offensive podcast, Hill has been surprisingly candid about how long he intends to play in the league. “I’m going to get this contract done with the Dolphins, and then I’ll call it quits,” Hill said during a conversation with former Chiefs players FB Anthony Sherman and WR Gehrig Dieter. Hill has already had seven seasons in the NFL. The potential playing window is much shorter than most fans might expect for the 29-year-old All-Pro who is coming off his best statistical season. While Hill’s blistering speed lends itself to a long career, the receiver said he has ambitions for a life outside the net. Although he’s far from groundbreaking, Hill said he’s looking forward to getting into the “business side of things.” Al-Areedh said he wants to go into coaching and follow the growth of his esports video game team. “I want to do many things with my life,” Hill said. The former boss remains under contract for another four seasons, two years after his self-described retirement goal. However, the final years of his contract with Miami hold huge financial figures that the wide receiver likely won’t see. Hill spent six seasons at KC before a dramatic trade sent the star to Miami for a high-value multiple draft pick in 2022, and right now, Cheetah plans to give it his all in the NFL. Hill is set to face his former team in 2023. The former fan favorite promises to make life difficult for The Chiefs. “I hate to raise the peace sign against you,” said Hill. While WR says he loves his team and his former teammates, he says he’ll be Chiefs fans’ worst enemy when the Dolphins come to town later this year.
