Henry Cavill no longer stars in Netflix’sthe magician,The British actor announced via his Instagram account on Saturday.
Australian actor Liam Hemsworth has been chosen to replace him on the show’s fourth season.
Cavill commented on his message, “My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with monsters and adventures, and unfortunately, I’m putting up my medal and swords for season four.”
It has been a momentous week for the 39-year-old, as he previously revealed that he will be returning to the world of DC Comics. He reprized his role in Superman.
While announcing his departure, Cavill also revealed that Hemsworth would take over the role, writing, “In my place, the wonderful Mr. Liam Hemsworth will take on the mantle of the white wolf. As with the greatest literary figures, I have experienced a torch of reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm for seeing Liam.” He takes on this man’s most wonderful and meticulous.”
The Briton wrote directly to the Australian: “Liam, good sir, this character has such wonderful depth, enjoy diving and seeing what you can find.”
in return, Hemsworth is 32 years old He wrote a letter to fans and Cavill on his own platform. He said, “As a Witcher fan, I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia. Henry Cavill has been a fantastic player for Geralt, and I’m honored that he handed me the reins and allowed me to take on the White Blades Wolf for the next chapter of his adventure.
