Outcast: A New Beginning is a sequel to one of the first open-world games ever created, simply called Outcast, but it also takes cues from games that came out in that two-decade gap by letting players explore an entire alien world “without… “No restrictions.”

Forsaken: A New Beginning director previously revealed that the sequel was actually influenced by the radical freedom and non-linear progression of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
