Prior to his debut, Jon Bon Jovi sat down with Good Morning America host Michael Strahan for an ABC special titled “Michael Strahan x Jon Bon Jovi: Halfway There” to discuss his life and legacy.

GMA aired a sneak peek of the interview on Wednesday in which the singer talked about the impact his career had on his relationship.

Jon Bon Jovi has been married to his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, for more than 30 years.

When Strahan stated that his success was “hard on the relationship,” Jon Bon Jovi responded: “That's bullshit.”

He added: “I got away with murder. I say that again on camera.” “I'm a rock 'n' roll star. Not a saint. You know, I'm not saying that, there haven't been a hundred girls in my life. I'm Jon Bon Jovi. He was pretty good.”

Despite all the attention he received from being in the spotlight, Jon Bon Jovi said they didn't deserve to be entertained.

“If you think I would risk anything because I believe the narcissist in me is real? What a stupid thing to do,” he said. “Any kind of excess a man needs will fan that fire. He's not worth it. He's not worth it.”
