Kristen McPhee Remember Sheryl Crow, Bangles, Moore

Christine McPhee passed away on Wednesday, November 30. According to a statement from McPhee’s family on Facebook, she suffered a short illness before dying “peacefully” in the midst of her family. Her sister-in-arms Stevie Nicks couldn’t make it in time, and Leave a love greeting on social media. But music industry giants loved McPhee, too — for her voice, her ability to write songs, and even for the upheavals her band Fleetwood Mac went through during their heyday in the ’70s and ’80s. The Drive by Truckers noted McVie’s large number of hits, and despite this, she still slept as a member of Fleetwood Mac. Even former President Bill Clinton expressed his love for McVeigh, who wrote his 1992 campaign song “Don’t Stop.” He tweeted “I am grateful to Christine & Fleetwood Mac for commissioning us such a meaningful song. Will miss it.” McVie was fondly remembered on social media by the likes of Sheryl Crow, Marc Maron, John Taylor Duran Duran and more.
