Nintendo Pizza Emulators has agreed to pull all of its apps from the Google Play Store.

In a statement posted to the company's Discord community, developer Davide Berra made no mention of Nintendo's settlement with fellow simulation software company Tropical Haze, only confirming that after “seven amazing years of development and adventures,” they have “made the difficult decision to remove them permanently.”

ICYMI, Tropical Haze, developer of the open source Switch emulator Yuzu, has agreed to pay $2.4 million in damages to Nintendo and cease all operations in response to the Mario company's recent lawsuit.
News of Nintendo's legal action against Yuzu emerged last week, with the company claiming the emulator facilitated piracy “on a massive scale.” For example, it said that more than a million copies of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom were downloaded illegally before its official launch — and that “several” pirate sites determined the game file was playable on the Yuzu.
“Defendant [Tropic Haze] Therefore, it is secondarily liable for infringement committed by users to whom Yuzu is distributed,” Nintendo's lawyers argued, with the lawsuit ultimately seeking damages and requiring the emulator to be shut down.
