Producer Eiji Aonuma recently hinted that a Zelda game with playable Zelda might become a reality.
“We feel that this gameplay idea takes the most priority. If it turns out that the particular gameplay we’re trying to achieve would be better with Zelda taking on this role, that’s probably a trend,” Onuma said in a recent interview.
