Gamecocks head coach Shane Beamer was visibly upset, yelling to the students to “get off the field.”
Beamer was on his way to the fourth and ninth conversion to 14-0, trying to give his team some momentum, but the celebration did the opposite. The conversion was stopped short, and Georgia took a 24-0 lead in the first half.

bulldog He then scored a touchdown on a 78-yard pass from Stetson Bennett to Brock Bowers in the third play of the second half to advance 31-0. Then they recovered from the Gamecocks stumble, and Bennett ran one to take a 38-0 lead halfway through the third.
