Her family announced that Nicki Aycox, who played Meg Masters on the CW series “Supernatural,” passed away last week.
She was 47 years old.
Aycox’s sister-in-law, Susan Rabe-Ceklowski, revealed the news on a date Facebook On November 17th.
“My beautiful, intelligent, fierce, incredibly talented, and loving sister-in-law, Nikki Aycox-Rapp, passed away yesterday with my brother Matt Rapp at her side,” she wrote. Nikki and Matt lived a wonderful life together in California. She was definitely a fighter and everyone who knew her loved her.”
Eric Kripke, creator of “Supernatural” took to Twitter to write, “Shut up to hear the great #NickiAycox, our first #MegMasters, has passed away. So young. She was delightful and delivered lines like honey and poison. Like the “faded” mythical.
The cause of death was not revealed, but Aycox open In 2021 she was diagnosed with leukemia.
“I want everyone to know I’m doing very well and fighting my way through chemo,” she wrote at the time.
Aycox has shared regular updates about her treatment, revealing her strong spirit, strength and sense of humor.
