The first teaser for Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is here

Updated May 22, 2024 at 12:30 PM PT: A blurry version of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 key art has been leaked via @billbil_kun on X/TwitterThis is just hours after the teaser was revealed.

As fans were quick to note, even if it’s not obvious, this is a clear throwback to Black Ops 1’s classic box art.

Activision’s Call of Duty marketing machine has kicked into gear with the release of the first teaser for Black Ops 6.

This first teaser, below, he posted CharlieIntelIt shows live footage depicting Mount Rushmore being vandalized with the phrase “The Truth Lies”. The clip comes as part of Teaser site Which features interactive television with only six channels, with a reference to the name of the game.

A second teaser has already appeared online as well, suggesting that it won’t be long before we see what the remaining four channels have in store. The final clip is about 20 seconds shorter than the first, and shows what appears to be the same mysterious group putting up black and orange The Truth Lies posters.

Microsoft will reportedly announce its intention to launch Black Ops 6 directly on Game Pass during the June Xbox showcase. Microsoft has so far declined to comment on the reports, but agrees Recent comments from Xbox head Sarah Bondwhich indicated that all Microsoft games, including those developed by the recently acquired Activision company, will launch directly on Game Pass.

Activision is reportedly targeting a late October 2024 release for this year’s Call of Duty game, which It is expected to be called Black Ops 6 After teasers for Battle Royale Warzone were discovered by developer Treyarch. Microsoft is also rumored to be ready to release its Call of Duty back catalog of video games on Game Pass before the release of Black Ops 6.

Although the TV teaser website promises to reveal more soon, additional details about Black Ops 6 remain a mystery. We can at least expect to hear more when Xbox holds its next show on June 9, 2024.
