The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has sold 500,000 copies worldwide

Capcom has announced that The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has exceeded 500,000 copies sold worldwide. The game is a modified version of Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve released on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Two Nintendo 3DS games released exclusively in Japan.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is also the second set of Ace Attorney titles released on modern devices. Capcom released the Ace Attorney Trilogy that makes up the first three games in the series, in February of 2019, and as of the latest unit sales update, 1.4 million copies of the trilogy have been sold.

Depending on Capcom’s satisfaction with Great Ace Attorney Chronicles sales, there is potential for another group, specifically from duology. The first entry, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, was released back on the Nintendo DS in 2009, but the sequel, Ace Attorney Investigations 2, was never translated to the West. There are also three other titles on the 3DS that are only available digitally through the eShop.

Selling 500,000 units is a great achievement for a visual novel adventure game. We hope that the Ace Attorney series will find continued success as they continue to release high-quality titles.
