Where to buy tickets, lineup

The Pirates and Primanti Brothers won't be the only major attractions in Pittsburgh this September.

From August 7-8, the first-ever Sudden Little Thrills Festival moves to the city's two-acre Hazelwood Green Park for two days of rock, R&B, pop, hip-hop and a few mash-ups from hometown favorite Girl Talk.

Headliners at the top of the opening bill include rockers The Killers, R&B royalty SZA, art-pop princess Melanie Martinez, indie icon St. Vincent and hip-hop hero/Pittsburgh native Wiz Khalifa performing a “hometown birthday set.”

They will be joined by Lupe Fiasco, Ruel Otis, Omar Apollo, Ethel Cain and Jovenel.

In total, 32 works are scheduled to be performed at this multi-genre concert; They will also have “unique artwork, local cuisine and more,” according to the festival Instagram.

For those who can't wait to get their Sudden Little Thrills tickets, we're here to help make that happen.

Although stock will not be available on Ticketmaster until Friday, April 19, fans who want to make sure they get tickets in advance can purchase from sites like Vivid Seats before tickets officially go on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be above or below face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states that your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
