YG Entertainment announced that all members of icon He will leave the agency.
On December 30, YG Entertainment released the following statement announcing iKON’s departure:
Hi, this is YG Entertainment.
We inform you that after a long discussion with iKON members (Kim Jinhwan, Bobby, Song Yunhyung, Go Junhui, Kim Donghyuk, and Jung Channo) about their future activities, respecting each other’s opinions, we have agreed to terminate our business. Exclusive contract after the end of the contract period.
The six iKON members will, of course, continue their activities as an “iKON” group in the future, and we also inform you that they will continue to communicate with iKONIC. [iKON’s fans] through their official social media accounts, including their official Weverse fan community, just as now.
We sincerely thank iKON, who have been with us as one of our agency’s artists so far. We look forward to their future activities in a wide variety of fields, and we will encourage them to do so.
