Canadian Tik Tok influencer dies in skydiving accident

TikTok influencer and miss from Toronto CanadaShe died after skydiving on her first singles session last weekend.

Tania Bardazzi, 21, fell to her death on August 27 while completing a jump on Skydive Toronto in Innisville, Ontario. CTV News Toronto reports that the skydiving school is asking students to finish a day of ground training before attempting an individual dive.

Bardazi, a philosophy student at the University of Toronto, opened her parachute too late while diving.

Skydive Toronto said in a statement posted to Facebook that Pardazi “launched a main parachute that rotated rapidly at a low altitude without the time/altitude required to inflate the reserve parachute.”

After the accident, the woman was taken to a local hospital where she was located pronounced dead.

The skydive facility also said in its statement that Pardazi “was a recently welcome addition to the skydiving community” and will be missed among the student’s new friends and fellow skydivers at Skydive Toronto Inc.

“The Skydive Toronto Inc team has been deeply affected by this incident as they have revised their student training program for over 50 years,” the statement read.

Pardazi was a TikTok influencer with over 95,000 followers. In her videos, she discusses a range of topics, including self-esteem, relationships, makeup, and animals. Bardazi talked about skydiving in her latest video on August 22.

“I went skydiving two days ago,” she said, speaking of my stay in a class there.

She also previously reached the semi-finals of the Miss Canada pageant.

“Tania was interested in anything new and adventurous,” Bardazi’s friend Melody Ozguli told CTV. “Life was too boring for her and she was always trying to do something adventurous.”

The skydiving company said it is cooperating with South Simcoe Police Service An investigation into her death.

“She really lived every second to the fullest,” Ozguli said. “This is our biggest shock. It’s very difficult to process. It’s been two days, but we still can’t believe it.”
