Georgia, Michigan, TCU, Ohio State are the top four teams in the AP Top 25

Georgia, Michigan, UCLA and Ohio were in the top four in the latest Associated Press regular season college football poll.

The Bulldogs (13-0) is No. 1 for the ninth consecutive week and 12th this season in the AP Top 25 Provided by Regions Bank. Georgia had 62 first-place votes, and Michigan (13-0) got the other in the poll released Sunday.

The final college football playoff rankings to determine the four-team stadium for the national championship game were to be released later Sunday.

TCU (12-1) remains in third place, despite losing for the first time this season in the Big 12 title game on Saturday. The Horned Frogs lost in overtime to Kansas State.

The Buckeyes moved up to fourth place, ahead of Alabama and Tennessee.

Utah was No. 7 after defeating USC in the Pac-12 Championship Game. The Trojans fell four points to eighth.

Penn State was No. 9, and Clemson stayed in No. 10 after winning the Atlantic Coast Conference title.

Kansas State, the Big 12 champion, moved up two spots to No. 11.

Tulane reached a season-high of 14th after winning the American Athletic Conference, and Troy’s first season appearance was 23rd.
