Grandma’s family digs up Grandma after 10 years, shocked by her appearance

She was still dead gorgeous.

A family in the Dominican Republic exhumed their grandmother nearly a decade after her burial, only to find the body perfectly preserved.

When Margarita Rosario was excavated in the La Colonia Cemetery in Jarabacoa, she was found to still have a full head of hair, some skin and enough bone to be able to stand with little support, relatives told Jam Press.

Video filmed outside the cemetery shows a man carrying the corpse while a woman wears it in a white nightgown. A small group crowded in to watch the aftermath of the exhumation, some of them capturing the scene on video.

The locals also expressed their shock at how Rosario was preserved.

“She was such a good person in life. That’s why she’s still preserved,” said one Jarabacoa local, while another stunned resident noted that the body “keeps standing and everything.”

“Intact complexion, as incredible as if the years had not passed,” ringing in the third.

Others were not happy that the family disturbed their grandmother’s comfort.

“Now let the poor grandmother rest,” said one of them.

“But what is the need to take it out?” Interrogate a second person. “They don’t let the dead rest in peace anymore.”

The family did not say why the body was exhumed.
