Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck continue their home search as they allegedly hold off warranty on $34.5 million mansion

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had second thoughts about the mansion they were about to buy after they pulled out of the warranty on the $34.5 million home just days before signing on the dotted line.

It’s unclear why J. Lo, 53, who’s been taking dance rehearsals, and her new husband, 50, decided the massive house in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades wasn’t for them, according to her. TMZ.

Offering seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, the home is located in the prestigious Rustic Canyon.

It also has a six-car garage, separate guest house, pool and dining room with a fireplace as well as an elegant bar.

In addition to a wine cellar, home gym, and spa, the property’s primary suite includes a private balcony, dual bathrooms, and walk-in closets.

The outlet reported that Ben and Jen had recently been looking for other homes in the same area, including a home priced at twice the asking price for the one he allegedly turned down.

The extensive search to find a home for the newlyweds and their blended families has been going on for about a year.

The couple has often been photographed visiting expensive properties around Los Angeles.

At one point, it was believed that Jen and Ben would renovate the All I Have singer’s grand mansion in Bel-Air with a move-in scheduled for later this year.

Since then, the Shotgun Wedding star has put it on the market for $42.5 million, according to Hollywood Reporter. It was reportedly undergoing renovations last August.

Before getting back together with Ben in April 2021, Jennifer was out in Miami, Florida with her twins, Max and Emme, 15. She shares children with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 54.

Penn sold his $30 million home in Pacific Palisades over the summer. He bought it amid his split from ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 50, in 2018. They share three children: Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Sam, 11.

In a November 2022 Vogue article, J. Lo referred to the Adam Project actress as “an amazing parent,” and said they work well together.

Kids are top of mind, with the Marry Me star explaining, “They have a lot of feelings. They’re teenagers. But it’s going really well so far.”

The couple has been sifting through the rental of Australian billionaire James Packer’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion amid the search for their home.
