On Monday, the Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs make the NFL’s first visit to the White House, and a full day of celebration for their grand victory will surpass Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelsey and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs roster. The team brought a custom Chiefs jersey to give to the president, along with their last Lombardy trophy. Jersey number 46 appeared on the back, representing Biden the 46th President of the United States. A die-hard Eagle fan tried to give Mahomes and safety Justin Reid some lip on their way to the White House. With the Chiefs’ first Super Bowl win in 1970, before invitations were sent out to the White House for NFL teams, this is the first time a team has gone to the nation’s capital after the championship.
