A futari of peace breaks down in the commune of Chingoni, in the presence of the Prince of Mayotte

This Saturday, the Prefect of Mayotte was in a futari in the commune of Chingoni. Following the violence, he and all the participants were housed by the gendarmerie at the MJC in Kombani.

This Saturday, April 6, Mirereni and Kampani villages jointly organized a Futari. A way of symbolizing the peace that had reigned for weeks between the two villages.

The event is being held at the initiative of Commune Mayor Issilamu Hamada. The Prefect, François Xavier Beauville is also with his wife. He spoke, specifically declaring that people should think with their heads rather than their fists above all else in a video captured by a Futari participant.

If you can think like that, the government will support you and ensure that the republic and mayotam are there with the development that you can make. So think head and heart and forget fists.

François Xavier Bieuville.

Except that Futari is degenerate. People outside the event will sow panic.

It seems that about fifteen youths were fighting on the Mirereni Bridge not far from there on this Sunday morning.

Elected officials and the governor were sheltered by the gendarmerie in the Company's MJC. Tear gas canisters are used to disperse troublemakers. The gendarmerie reported that the situation returned to calm in the evening.

On the prince's return journey to Mamoutzu, the prince's mounted escort would have been the target of stone pelting. No injuries to report.

Futari of Disturbed Peace

The Province of Mayotte responded this evening on their Facebook page:

“The Governor went to Chingoni this evening to meet with the Mayor and residents to share the famous Fudari and peace. He welcomed and thanked the Mayor for his efforts to continue his efforts to restore civil peace.

The willingness of some people to disrupt these friendly and important events is regrettable. These actions will be dealt with promptly by law enforcement.

All municipalities and villages in the department will be affected by massive security measures. The Chief Minister reiterates his firm commitment on this matter.”

The incident is disturbing the public peace and hence the inquiry should start this evening.
